Highly acclaimed shit.

yay!
great.
my father actually upgraded the internet to a speed more than 3x faster.
my need for speed. :)
also changing the channels.
dump the useless use channels and take other more interesting ones.
and lastly we are gonna use Starhub home line.
yeah its a package ah actually.
but their service really sucks.
the only served 4 people in 1 1/2 hours.
wat the hell man?
then there's this malay family taking their own sweet time (more than 1 hour damn it) suscribing to something(i think a new mobile phone line).
ass.
i only took 10 minutes to sign up for a line at M1.

but luckily there was Best Denki there so i went up to the second level and went inside.
i was like so monkey-ish seeing all the cameras.
hahahahaha.
i went to look for the models i shortlisted.
nope doesn't involve DSLRs.
not the time yet.
i had a really great time trying them out..
especially the full manual mode where you had to personally adjust almost everything.
but some salesperson just love to spoil my mood.
the fujifilm camera i shortlisted was apparently going to have its production stopped so the piece there was basically the last one.
then the guy keep on pestering me to buy it with the reason that it will not be available anymore.
he sounded like Hafiz when he wanted me to buy a guitar.
lol hehe. jkjk.
i felt like being rude to the guy considering how long i waited at the Starhub centre(a.k.a release my frustration at other people),
but didn't do it cos not only he let me try the cameras out,
but he went to the trouble of changing the batteries of the cameras just for me.
haha.
the funny thing was that i selected the full manual mode instead of using the auto mode he selected for me,
and he was like "eh u noe how to use full manual is it? the furthest i know is just aperture priority and shutter priority control".
maybe he is a part timer worker at the Best Denki store cos usually the rest of the workers would be professional photographers.
and i don't wanna be rude to a part timer hahahahha.

so by the time i went back to the starhub centre my dad was done,
(he was done, but not the other malay family..wth were they doing? buying the whole starhub company?)
we went to my elder cousin's working place to have lunch.
he's the one who would be getting married by 2010,
but having his tunang(what eh in english?) event this coming February.
its pretty interesting to listen to people talk about marriage preparations that kind of things.
i don't know why but now i felt closer to him.
haha in the past i hated him because he was a devil/rebel and anything related to that.
haha.
people do change.
like me ah!
i was quiet ok.
and guess what, if there are no other obstacles i might face,
i will be the wedding's official photographer!
yay!
i got thumbs up from my dad.
hehe maybe cos of all the holiday photos i took?
lol.
but holiday photos and wedding phots are soooooo different.
i'm going to start reading up on these wedding photo shoots by May next year.
i might need to set up a mini studio in my bedroom,
two lights from IKEA, two cheap2 umbrellas with white colour on the underside and white acetate papers and stands.
that would be enough.
anyone wants to go for a photoshoot?
hehe.

talking about lights,
at home there's this camping light which cannot be used anymore.
so being the typical me,
i "dissected" it.
the composition of the circuit board is amazing,
huge capacitors, two transformers.
yeah i know there are transformers, i risked electrocuting myself actually.
but with my trusty multimeter,
i'm still alive!
:D
a lot of wires.
oh btw the black box thingy is the battery.
so damn BIG.
oh and at the leftmost side is my personal multimeter!
i love you lah my multimeter.
:p
btw to those who noe how to use the multimeter,
i know i put the black wire at the wrong terminal heh.
i was like how come my multimeter not working!
hahaha.
