School holidays had been pretty boring.
Pretty glad that in within two weeks time, I will be starting school.
For this three months I had been teaching tutees ranging from kindergarten till secondary two tuition.
it was pretty worthwhile.
But obviously I didn't spend the whole day teaching people.
About a fraction of the free time I had, I managed my villages and troops.
Yeah.
Villages and troops.
Haha since when did I own a village huh?
Well it is all part of a medieval game in facebook.
Realm of Empires.
I really love this game for multiple reasons.
The first reason is that, it doesn't take much of my time.
See above and realise that I said "fraction of my free time".
playing this game doesn't require a lot of time spent on it as compared to other games.
its just making sure my treasury doesn't get filled up (it hurts to see a red treasury icon) and its military power at operational ready.

Having clanmates as neighbours its one of luxuries you can have.

The second good reason that people should be playing this is that,
indirectly, you enlarge your social circle.
I am in a clan called Land Of Protection.
about a few weeks ago we had a huge war.
everybody started getting paranoid about spies in our clan forums.
so it was decided that we only communicate through skype.
it was definitely effective.
we get to receive real time updates at the fastest possible time.
we managed to coordinate attacks very effectively.
this is proven when half the villages a huge player had in an enemy clan had been seized by our clanmates.
even after the war, we still make use of the IM program to chat with each other about our lifes.
it was definitely fun making friends with people from other countries.

Basically RoE is a very nice application suited for people from all walks of lifes.
